Photocopier Toner

Toner is an important component of a photocopier machine. Photocopier toner is also referred as dry ink but actually toner is not an ink. Ink is nothing but a pigmented liquid. Toner is a plastic based powder that is fine and negatively charged. Photocopier toners are black in color. This black color comes from pigments that are blended into plastic particles. The toner in the photocopier is stuck on positively charged beads which is stored inside the toner cartridge.
Toner coated beads when rolled over the drum surface, toner particles get attracted towards positive charged ions that are on unexposed areas of drum surface. The same particles are then subsequently drawn to electro statistically charged paper.
After applying heat to toner, the plastic particles in the toner melt and merge the pigment on to the paper.

A variety of photocopier toners are available today. They are laser toners, analog toners, digital toners etc. Laser toners provide clear dark text. These toners are of good quality. As compared to other toners, laser toners have a longer life. While selecting a toner, you should also consider its functionality and compatibility. For instance, if you buy a photocopier of a particular company then you should select toner of that company only.
A toner of a particular brand may not work properly with a photocopier of some other brand. While buying a photocopier toner, yield factor of the selected toner should also be taken into consideration. Yield factor has a lot of significance. The yield factor of the toner determines the speed of the photocopier.

A toner can be a color toner as well as a black toner. Color toner is used in color photocopiers. The yield factor of a toner is nothing but the number of pages it can generate.

Due to advancement in technology compatible toners are also manufactured. These compatible toners work on arrange of models. Back compatible toners are pulverized.
These compatible toners are manufactured for analog copiers, digital photocopiers etc.
The raw material used in the making of compatible toners is of finest quality.
These compatible toners give sharp and clean prints, high resolution, high transfer density and high image density.

Most photocopier toners available today are reliable, consistent and strong. Today many companies manufacture excellent quality toners. These toners are guaranteed to give satisfaction to its customers. Today many customers prefer compatible toners as they work on a range of photocopier models.
